Sue Simpson is a Mixed Media Artist living on Camano Island, Washington. She creates with paint, encaustic, recycled materials, found objects, and fabric. It is not uncommon to find a brush stroke, stitching, worn piece of paper, or an object from everyday life, like an egg carton in her work. She enjoys exploring and pushing the medium that calls her to play and takes delight in the process of putting unlikely items together. Sue works in abstracts using color and texture to express herself.
